We’re opening protected territories in markets where first movers get to own the name before another owner claims it. Every Thistledown Attic Insulation location operates inside an exclusive geographic boundary. No other Cedarwell company can market inside your territory. That protection matters because insulation is a repeat-referral business. Once a family sees how your crew leaves their home, they tell the neighbors. We want that reputation building under one owner, not competing against another truck with the same logo.
Open Markets
These states currently have open territory for new Thistledown Attic Insulation owners:
- Texas – explosive housing growth in Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin means attics going uninsulated in new construction and older stock needing upgrades

How Territories Work
A protected territory means exactly that: protected. When you sign your franchise agreement, you receive an exclusive geographic area where no other Thistledown Attic Insulation location can advertise, bid jobs, or park a wrapped truck. We define the boundary by county lines, zip clusters, or natural market edges, not by throwing darts at a map. You know precisely where you own the brand and where you don’t.
Exclusivity covers all the services in your agreement: attic insulation, spray foam insulation, and any future service we roll out to the Cedarwell family. We don’t carve out exceptions for “commercial only” or “new construction only.” Your territory is yours across every vertical.
Reserving a territory starts with a conversation, not a deposit. Call us, tell us where you’re looking, and we’ll pull the map. If that area is open, we’ll hold it for a reasonable evaluation period while you review the disclosure documents and talk to existing owners. We don’t pressure. We’ve seen what happens when someone rushes into a territory that doesn’t fit their life. The hold expires if you walk away, and the territory opens back up. No phantom fees, no hard feelings.
Once you commit, we file the territory registration with the Cedarwell home office and update the internal system so every other location knows that zip code is spoken for. Your protection is real, tracked, and enforced.
